Maha: NTA chief rewarded after NEET leak, alleges Jayant Patil

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) Senior Sharad Pawar-led NCP leader Jayant Patil today alleged that National Testing Agency (NTA) Subodh Singh is being rewarded even after the NEET exam question paper leak and demanded immediate action against him.
Speaking to media persons, Patil said, “Even in 2024, the NEET paper was leaked in a similar manner. How come important exam papers get leaked repeatedly? What action has been taken so far against those who are playing with the future of students? IAS official Subodh Kumar Singh, who is the Director General of NTA, was temporarily removed from his post, but soon he was sent to the Steel Ministry and now he is the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. So, despite such mistakes, such people only get rewarded.”
“Such things have been happening frequently. Students who dream of becoming doctors in the future start preparing for the NEET exam as soon as the Class X results are out. But this year's paper leak has shattered the dreams of these students. Now, it will be conducted again. Not only are students mentally distressed, their parents are also suffering. The problem is not just about the paper leak but also about corruption and negligence in the education system.”
