Maharashtra Govt launches financial aid scheme for educated unemployed youth from three communities

Mumbai, Nov 18 (UNI) With local self-government elections approaching, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday introduced a financial assistance scheme aimed at helping educated unemployed youth from the Brahmin, Rajput and Arya Vaishya communities to set up their own businesses.
The government had earlier established the Parshuram Corporation for the Brahmin community, the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Corporation for the Rajput community, and the Vasavi Kanyaka Corporation for the Arya Vaishya community.
Through these corporations, loans will now be made available to unemployed but educated youth from the three communities for starting new enterprises. Regular repayment of these loans will make borrowers eligible for an interest return benefit.
