Maharashtra sanctions Rs 143.85 cr for modular healthcare upgrade in Parbhani

Mumbai, Aug 9 (UNI) The Maharashtra government has sanctioned Rs 143.85 crore for procuring equipment and materials to set up modular Intensive Care Units (ICUs), labour rooms, and operation theatres at the district Hospital in Parbhani and its subordinate health facilities in 2025–26.
The funding will be used to equip newly operational modular Intensive Care Units (ICUs), labour rooms, and operation theatres across the district hospital and associated facilities, improving emergency treatment and specialised care for patients in Parbhani and neighbouring areas.
The decision followed all required administrative procedures, including clearance from the Finance Department, and was processed through the Budget Expenditure and Management System (BEAMS) for fund allocation.
