Majitha police station row: FIR names Bikram Singh Majithia, four others

Chandigarh, June 4 (UNI) Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia and four others have been named in an FIR registered in connection with an alleged disturbance at the Majitha police station in Amritsar, with the document being released after directions from a local court.
The development came after an Amritsar court asked the police to provide a copy of the FIR within 24 hours. Following the court's order, the police shared details of the case registered in relation to an incident that allegedly occurred on May 31.
According to the police complaint, a person identified as Jobanpreet Singh was being questioned inside the police station when a group led by Majithia allegedly entered the premises. Investigators claim the group included several associates and a large number of supporters.

Railway Board reiterates uniform implementation of healthcare rules for pensioners, UMID card holders
