Man arrested for kidnapping and assaulting minor in Delhi over personal grudge

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) A 23-year-old man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a six-year-old boy in northwest Delhi’s Subhash Place, police said.
According to officials, the accused, Mohammad Samem, a resident of Shakurbasti, carried out the act due to a personal grudge. He was apprehended within hours of the incident, and the child was rescued safely following an extensive search operation, police added.
“A PCR call was received at around 3:18 am on November 4, alerting police to the kidnapping of a six-year-old boy in Subhash Place,” said Bhisham Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-West District).
