Media should stop mischievous reports about Maharashtra farmer loan waiver: Paranjape

Mumbai, Jan 24 (UNI) Blasting the media for its "mischievous talk" that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was against the farmer loan waiver scheme, NCP chief spokesperson Anand Paranjape on Friday said there are no differences in the Grand Alliance (Mahayuti) on the issue. "It is the moral responsibility of the Mahayuti to fulfill the promises made to the Baliraja (Farmers) of Maharashtra in the Mahayuti's manifesto, but since yesterday, there is mischievous talk in the media that NCP National President and Deputy Chief Minister Ajitdada Pawar is against the loan waiver and this is very wrong, he said.

For the last ten days, Pawar as the Minister of Finance and Financial Planning of the state, has been holding wide-ranging meetings with the Ministers of each Department, State Ministers, Secretary, Deputy Secretary. When Pawar presents the state budget in March, what should be the financial outlet for next year? Paranjape also explained that the announcements made in the previous year 24-25 and the planning of the expenditure in that regard have not been spent more than that, they are reviewing every account very minutely.
