Meghalaya recognised as ‘Best Performing’ state in verification of Adult Aadhaar Enrolment

Shillong, Oct 14 (UNI) Meghalaya has been recognised as the ‘Best Performing’ state in verification of Adult Aadhaar Enrolment at the national level, an official said today.
The award was formally received on behalf of the state by Aadhaar Nodal Officer, General Administration Department (B), Shai Kupar War, during the Aadhaar Samvaad event held to mark the inaugural Aadhaar Day at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre recently.
Commissioner & Sccretary and State Aadhaar Nodal Officer, Dr. Joram Beda, congratulated the team, stating: “Meghalaya's recognition as the Best Performing state is the result of the collective dedication and hard work of our Deputy Commissioners, Block Development Officers, in particular the District Supervisors, and Operators, alongside the seamless coordination by General Administration Department (B).”
