Meghan Markle makes elegant return to Paris Fashion Scene

Paris, Oct 5 (UNI) Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made an unanticipated appearance at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, attending the Balenciaga show in support of her close friend and the fashion house's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Marking her first presence at the Parisian fashion spectacle in over a decade, Meghan travelled solo from California and was soon seen in warm exchange with Vogue's formidable editor Anna Wintour and acclaimed filmmaker Baz Luhrmann amid the constellation of luminaries.
For the evening, Meghan exuded understated sophistication in a monochromatic ensemble, wide-leg ivory trousers and a matching tailored blazer from Balenciaga's latest collection, paired elegantly with black pointed stilettos and a sleek, sculpted bun. Later in the evening, she switched into a sleek black gown, epitomising Balenciaga's signature blend of minimalism and drama, reports BBC.
The spokesman said, "Over the years, the duchess has worn some designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together, collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage. She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga."
Meghan's Instagram video also showed her making her way to the event in a car, driving through the streets of Paris.
Paris Fashion Week runs until Tuesday, featuring big-name brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel and Hermès.
The duchess, who has increasingly carved out her space as a cultural tastemaker, recently launched a curated digital boutique spotlighting her preferred designers, accessories and jewellery. Meghan, a former actress on TV drama Suits, recently starred in a Netflix series in which she described her 'high-low' style approach to mixing designer and accessible fashion.
Currently residing in Montecito, California with Prince Harry and their children Archie and Lillibet, Meghan last visited the United Kingdom in September 2022 for a charity event and the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
The duke has made several trips to the UK in recent years for a variety of engagements, including charity events and to attend court cases. Last month, he met his father, the King amid speculation about a reconciliation. This week, Prince Harry appeared to dial in for a High Court hearing in a case against the Daily Mail's publisher.
