Millie Bobby Brown and Rachel Bronson unite for supernatural series 'Prism'

Los Angeles, Oct 15 (UNI) Two powerhouse performers, Millie Bobby Brown and Rachel Brosnahan, are teaming up for "Prism", an upcoming supernatural series now in development.
The Netflix project unites Brown, Brosnahan and the Russo brothers' production house, AGBO, in what is expected to be an arresting exploration of the spectral and the psychological aspects, reports DEADLINE.
Veteran writer-producer Etan Frankel, celebrated for his incisive work on "Shameless" and "Jor vs. Carole", will serve as showrunner, steering the series with gis signature blend of emotional depth and dark wit.
Brown will play Cassie, a woman with the unique ability to communicate with apparitions, who must uncover the cause of a newly discovered phenomenon that causes "visitors" (ghosts) to appear all over the world before it's too late.
Prism is based on the short story of the same name featured in the magazine Assemble Artifacts, and was developed in-house with writer Nick Shafir, who will co-produce.
Executive producers include Brown through her PCMA banner; Brosnahan and Russell Kahn via Scrap Paper Pictures; Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes and Alessandra Maman on behalf of AGBO; and Jack Heller and Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen of Assemble Media.
If greenlit, "Prism" would mark Brown's second creative venture with AGBO following "The Electric State". She continues to maintain a longstanding creative partnership with the platform that launched her to fame through "Stranger Things" and the "Enola Holmes" film series.
Brosnahan's breakout role was in Netflix's "House of Cards"; she appeared in an episode of "Orange is the New Black "and starred in the streamer's film "Saturn Return" alongside Charles Melton and Will Poulter. She is best known for playing the lead in Prime Video's Emmy-winning period dramedy "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". She most recently played Lois Lane in James Gunn's "Superman". Up next, Brosnahan will star in and executive produce the sophomore season of Apple TV's "Presumed Innocent".
AGBO is currently producing Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday in London, to be followed up by "Avengers: Secret Wars" (2027), with the Russos directing. The studio recently released "The Electric State" for Netflix, which premiered as the platform's No. 1 film, and wrapped "The Bluff "for Amazon MGM and "The Whisper Man" for Netflix. "Citadel Season 2" for Prime Video is currently in post-production. AGBO also collaborated with Netflix on "The Gray Man" (2022) feature starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.
Showrunner Etan Frankel continues to expand his creative repertoire following his work on "Big Mistakes", "Animal Kingdom" and a long stint as writer-producer on "Shameless". UNI NST SSP
