Minister Shinde announces cluster development scheme for Bhiwandi

Thane, Feb 22 (UNI) Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday announced that a cluster development scheme will be implemented in Bhiwandi town of the district on the lines of the one in Thane city.

Speaking at a function organized at the district collectorate here to disburse the government's aid to the kin of those deceased who lost their lives in the Jhilani building crash in the town in September 2020, he said that to avert the repeat of such mishaps in future, the state government will implement the cluster development scheme in the powerloom town.
