Minister Sridhar Babu invites Gulf entrepreneurs, NRIs to invest in ‘Rising Telangana’

Hyderabad/Dubai, Sep 5 (UNI) Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu has urged Gulf-based entrepreneurs and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to join the State’s growth journey, “Rising Telangana”, by investing in its diverse and fast-growing sectors.
Speaking at the South Indian Business Achievers Awards (SIBA), organised as part of the South Indian International Weekend – Dubai 2025, Sridhar Babu said Telangana has emerged as one of India’s leading destinations for industrial development and innovation.
Despite ranking 11th in geographical area and 12th in population, Telangana contributes over 5 per cent to the national GDP. The State clocked a Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth rate of 8.2 per cent in FY 2024–25, well above the national average.
