Mirwaiz farooq expresses grief over Iranian President’s demise in helicopter crash

Srinagar, May 20 (UNI) Muslim cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday expressed grief and sorrow over the helicopter crash in which Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, regional governor Malik Rahmati, and others died.
Mirwaiz Farooq, who has been placed under house arrest since May 3, expressed condolences over the Iranian President’s demise in a helicopter crash.
He described the accidental death of President Ebrahim Raisi as an irreparable loss for the Muslim world, particularly for the nation of Iran.
