Bengauru, Feb 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced all possible help to the earthquake victims in Turkey.
"At this time we all have our eyes fixed on the devastating earthquake in Turkey. There are reports of many tragic deaths and extensive damage. The sympathies of 140 crore people of India are with the earthquake victims. We are ready to provide all possible help to the earthquake victims," he said addressing the India Energy Week hee.
A powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey and northern Syria early Monday, causing buildings to collapse. Hundreds of people were killed and hundreds injured, with the toll expected to rise. The tremor was felt across the region, including in Lebanon, Israel, and Iraq.
