Mothers Behind Social Workers Honoured on Mother's Day

Pune, May 10 ( UNI) A special "Vighnaharta Karyakarta Matrugaurav Samman" ceremony was organised in Pune by Jay Ganesh Vyaspeeth on the occasion of Mother's Day, honouring mothers who have stood firmly behind social workers associated with public Ganesh festival mandals.
Speaking at the event, MLA Hemant Rasane said that mothers play a crucial role in supporting social workers who often devote themselves to society while neglecting personal and family responsibilities. He remarked that it is because mothers shelter and encourage their children with love and strength that these workers are able to spread care and service across society.
The mothers were felicitated with prasad, ceremonial shawls, certificates and Tulsi saplings at the hands of renowned kirtankar Charudatta Afale and saint-literature scholar Dr. Aarti Datar.
