MP CM’s return rescheduled

Bhopal, June 29 (UNI) Amidst hectic political activity in Madhya Pradesh over proposed expansion of the ministerial Council, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s return from the national capital was postponed from tonight to ‘maybe’ Tuesday, official sources said.
The veteran leader left for Delhi on Sunday afternoon aboard a special plane. He was accompanied by Bharatiya Janata Party state President Vishnu Dutt Sharma and General Secretary (Organisation) Suhas Bhagat. Mr Chouhan interacted with Premier Narendra Modi, Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah and other saffron camp top brass including erstwhile central minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Meanwhile, state Home Minister Narottam Mishra also suddenly departed on Monday for the national capital.
Until 2100 hrs, uncertainty loomed over whether Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel would arrive here early Tuesday. She is holding additional charge of the state during Governor Lalji Tandon’s indisposition.
