MSRTC bus fare hiked by about 15 pc: Sarnaik

Mumbai, Jan 24 (UNI) State owned Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has decided to hike hike its bus fare by 14.97 percent with effect from midnight of Friday, informed state transport minister Pratap Sarnaik on Friday.
He said that, MSRTC had not hiked bus fares in the last three years. It has been decided to increase the ticket price of MSRTC bus.
A few days ago it was said that the MSRTC had sent the fare hike proposal to the state government.
