Mumbai: BEST bus services hit as contract workers go on strike

Mumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) A strike by contract workers at a private bus depot here disrupted some Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus services Monday morning.
Sources indicate that 110 buses from the Pratiksha Nagar depot and 100 from the Dharavi depot were affected.
According to BEST officials, the strike was triggered by an incident involving a pregnant lady conductor who was allegedly insulted by employees of the wet lease operator.
