Mumbai cattle sheds to be shifted beyond municipal corporation areas

Mumbai Aug 9 (UNI) Cattle sheds in Mumbai will be shortly relocated away from the Municipal Corporation areas, an official said on Friday.
In an attempt to make the city cattle-free, the BMC would issue notices to owners of 263 cattle sheds in Mumbai asking them to relocate to the land parcel allocated to them outside the district.
According to the official following their non-compliance with the directive, the civic body will initiate legal action against them.
