Mumbai Municipal Corporation polls to be held on Jan 15

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) After a prolonged delay, the dates for the long-pending municipal corporation elections in Mumbai were announced on Monday.
The State Election Commission announced that polling at 29 places in Maharashtra will be held on January 15, while counting of votes and results will be declared on January 16.
With immediate effect, the model code of conduct has come into force in all municipal corporations.
