Musharraf genuinely tried to address Kashmir issue acceptable to India & Pak: Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar, Feb 5 (UNI) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said that former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf was the only General who genuinely tried to address the Kashmir issue acceptable to Indian and Pakistan.
“He wanted a solution according to wishes of people of Jammu and Kashmir and acceptable to India and Pakistan”, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister said while paying deepest condolences on the demise of the former President of Pakistan on twitter.
Mehbooba said “though GoI has reversed all CBMs initiated by him & Vajpayee ji, the ceasefire remains”.
Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf died after a prolonged illness in a Dubai hospital Sunday.
