Musk threatens Apple with lawsuit over alleged Antitrust violations

Moscow, August 12 (UNI) US tech giant Apple does not allow any artificial intelligence (AI) companies, except OpenAI, to reach the first line in the ranking of its AppStore, US entrepreneur Elon Musk said, calling this "an unequivocal antitrust violation" and promising that his company xAI will take legal action.
"Apple is behaving in a manner that makes it impossible for any AI company besides OpenAI to reach number 1 in the App Store, which is an unequivocal antitrust violation. xAI will take immediate legal action," Musk said on X.
xAI is developing the Grok artificial intelligence, presented in November 2023. In March 2024, xAI open-sourced Grok.
