Nagaland Cong concerned over NFA's decision to form coalition with PDA

Kohima, Jul 20 (UNI) Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Tuesday expressed concern over the decision of the Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) to join the Peoples’ Democratic Alliance (PDA) coalition government and also said that it comes as no surprise, given the fact that the main opposition party with 26 MLAs (now 25 MLAs) has been the most silent opposition bench in the history of Nagaland Legislative Assembly for the past 40 months.
A release issued by the Communication Department of NPCC said that taking the pretext of Naga political issue to converge into an opposition-less government is an insult to the people of Nagaland as their main objective is to raid the state exchequer and enjoy the perks of office while delaying the implementation of the Naga political solution.
It said the NPF, which won 26 seats in the 2018 Assembly Elections mainly on the plank of the anti-Hindutva narrative is back to square one.
