Nagaland Govt has total 1, 27, 889 payroll employees

Kohima Feb 23 (UNI) Nagaland has a total of 1,27,889 employees under the Nagaland State Government’s payroll, according to official statements laid at the recently concluded 5th Session of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, against the total population of 19,80,602 Persons (Census 2011).

According to official record Nagaland had 1, 25,255 employees in 2019-20, with an addition of 2,634 in the last one year, has a total of 1, 27,889 employees are under the Nagaland State Government’s payroll this year, however, out of the total increase in employment, 1,719 were appointed in the current year under Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and Centrally Planned Schemes (CPS), while the rest (935) were indifferent State Departments.
