NATO chief urges allies to continue support for Ukraine

Brussels, Sep 6 (UNI) NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Friday urged the alliance members to further support Ukraine, saying the conflict is currently in a "difficult phase" for them.
"I call on all allies to continue their work and support, especially in this difficult phase of the war," Stoltenberg said during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stоre in Oslo.
Russia has consistently warned NATO that supply of weapons to Ukraine makes the allies directly involved in the conflict and impedes the peace process.
