Natural farming brings prosperity to village Jamnoti

Nadaun(HP), Nov 16 (UNI) Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, who has set a sterling example in Himachal Pradesh by promoting natural farming on a large scale, ensuring safe food production and environmental protection, while also increasing farmers' income, is yielding very encouraging results.
Now, thousands of farmers across the state have adopted natural farming, and their incomes are seeing a significant increase.
In the village panchayat of Gwalpathar in the Chief Minister's home constituency of Nadaun, many farmers have also achieved excellent work in natural farming. Kamal Kishore of Jamnoti village in the same panchayat is now earning substantial profits through natural farming. Another progressive farmer from a village adjacent to Jamnoti, Kusum Lata and her husband, Madan Lal, also adopted natural farming about three years ago, inspired and guided by officials from the Agriculture Department's ATMA project. Today, they too are earning an income of 2.5 to 3 lakh rupees per season by growing a variety of vegetables.
