Naveen announces ex gratia  for the victims of  Bahanaga train tragedy

Bhubaneswar, June 4 (UNI) Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced exgratia for the victims of the Bahanaga train tragedy.
The assistance will be given from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The next of kin of the deceased will get an assistance of Rs 5 lakh and those who sustained serious injuries will get Rs 1 lakh as assistance.
Patnaik has also conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery of the injured.
Victims of Friday's train tragedy are undergoing treatment in various government and private hospitals between Bhubaneswar and Balasore.

First private medical college of Meghalaya will start to intake students

Shillong, Oct 3 (UNI) Meghalaya’s first private medical college, the PA Sangma International Medical College, will start to intake students from the current academic session.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has granted approval to the USTM for the intake of 150 students in an academic year.
However, the National Medical Commission (NMC), the regulatory body for medical education in India, has yet to grant permission to the PA Sangma International Medical College.
