NCP organises mass rally in Dhaka, demands execution of Hasina, peddles false anti-India propaganda

Dhaka, Nov 17 (UNI) Bangladesh's youth-led group, the National Citizen Party (NCP), known for its anti-India stance, organised a mass rally in Dhaka on Monday demanding execution of the death sentence against former PM Sheikh Hasina for her alleged complicity in crimes against humanity, as well as the trial of its largest and currently-banned Awami League party.
The party has frequently made unwarranted allegations against India, accusing New Delhi of meddling in the country's internal affairs, and claiming that the AL is a political stooge of the Indian government.
Taking to the streets of the capital from the youth-party's headquarters in the evening, NCP's Chief Coordinator Nasir Uddin Patwary, speaking at the rally said, "Those who shot our brothers and were granted state protection; this is an injustice to the people."
