Nearly 1 mln children in Ethiopia to suffer from malnutrition in 2024: UNICEF

Addis Ababa, Mar 1 (UNI) Nearly 1 million children in Ethiopia are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition in 2024, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said on Friday.
In a press release, the UN agency said it projects around 350,000 pregnant and lactating women will also be malnourished in 2024.
Ethiopia is grappling with multiple crises, including climate change-driven drought, which is outpacing responses to the crises, the UNICEF added.
