Need accurate data and Analytical for making better decisions at sensitive conditions: Naidu

Hyderabad, Dec 11 (UNI) Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Wednesday said it is imperative for the Aviation Ministry to adopt an end-to-end data management and analytics system such as a system which will not only enhance operational efficiency but also brings in greater accountability and better decision-making at every level possible.
Addressing after launching AI-powered digital twin platform to power the next-generation airport Predictive Operation Centre (APOC) at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here, aiming to better airport operations and transform the passenger experience, Ram Mohan Naidu said We need a centralized data repository where we get in information from each and every airport for effective policy making across the airports.
He said “Whether the aircraft is on the ground or moving in the airspace, there has to be effective coordination amongst all stakeholders as per the changing circumstances” and we need to push more into providing much innovative solutions which are truly cater to the growing footfall of our airport and we must prioritize a greater situational awareness also.
