Need to fill vacuum so that Kashmiri youth excel in every field: Akhtar

Srinagar, May 24 (UNI) Asserting that the valley has been the centre of learning for thousands of years, and scholars from all over the world used to come here, Education Minister Naeem Akhtar said there is a need to fill the vacuum, which was created during the recent past due to various reasons, so that the Kashmiri youth excel in every field.
“We need to occupy the space that got vacated during the recent past due to varied reasons. And I am sure with such talent we will occupy the country with our intellect, knowledge and superiority,” Mr Akhtar, who is also the chief spokesperson of the PDP-led government, said.
Meanwhile, Mr Akhtar said that the youth are changing the destiny of Kashmir valley, adding that the state government will help them in every possible way to take this movement to the next level.
