SPR India signs MoU with Joyalukkas

Chennai, Dec 12 (UNI) SPR City, Chennai’s largest integrated township, on Thursday signed
an MoU with one of India’s largest jewelry chains, Joyalukkas.
The MoU was signed between the two companies in the presence of company officials and guests.
With this, Joyalukkas becomes the first jeweller to set up a showroom of over 20,000 sqft at SPR
City.
Mr. Hitesh Kawad, MD, SPR India, said, “It is a matter of great pride for us at SPR that we have
Joyalukkas entering our project with their showroom. Joyalukkas is one of India’s most renowned
jewellry groups and I am proud that they will be the first jeweler to set up a showroom at SPR City."
"With this we have lived up to our promise of having the best of amenities and retail players within
SPR City”, he said, according to a SPR release.
Mr. Joy Alukkas, Chairman, Joyalukkas Group, said “I am happy to be the first jeweller to be present
in SPR City. We see the potential of the property and am sure that our showroom will do well. Chennai has been good for Joyalukkas, and we have a plan of increasing our store count gradually
in the city. SPR City is a project with a lot of promise and potential. We are happy to be a part of it."
SPR City also features India’s largest upcoming retail and wholesale market, The Market of India
with over 5,000 shops, 10,000 vehicle parking, nine prominent wholesale and retail market, 1.5 acres grand central atrium and seven smaller atriums that can be a game-changer for the organized trade in Chennai.
