Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar reviews central schemes & IDP fund utilisation in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 3 (UNI) union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today reviewed the implementation status of various Central schemes and the utilisation of funds released for the relief and rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Manipur.
The review meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Old Secretariat, here, soon after the Minister’s arrival in the state.
Senior state government officials briefed him on the progress of multiple Central programmes, including those under the 10% Gross Budgetary Support (GBS) and other flagship initiatives of various ministries and departments.

Orissa HC restores guardianship of minor to father after mother's death

Bhubaneswar, Dec 9 (UNI) Setting aside the order of a family court, the Orissa High Court has handed over the legal custody and guardianship of a minor to his father after the death of his wife while observing that “if no custody is granted, the court would be depriving both the child and the father of each other's love and affection to which they are entitled.” .
