Bihar govt announces stern action against drug peddlers within 15 days

Patna, Feb 27 (UNI) The Bihar government on Tuesday announced to launch a speedy drive against drug peddlers and take stern action against those indulged in selling intoxicants in the state within 15 days.
Replying to a short-noticed question of BJP MLA Amrendra Pratap Singh in the state assembly, Bihar Minister Shrawan Kumar said that the government was serious about the issue and would launch a speedy drive to nab the drug peddlers and those who indulged in selling intoxicants within 15 days.
He said anyone involved in such activity would not be spared at any cost. The Minister also urged the members to create awareness among the people, especially the youngsters, and apprise them about the consequences of using drugs and other intoxicants.
