Tripura assembly: Rs 410.69 cr deficit budget table for FY 2024-25

Agartala, Mar 1 (UNI) Tripura Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Friday tabled a deficit budget of Rs 27,804.67 crore for the 2024–25 financial year, which reflected the deficit of Rs 410.69 crore.
Addressing the house, the Finance Minister stated that the total budget allocation in FY 2024–25 represents an increase of 4.30% over the last year.
About 39.93% of the budget expenditure is earmarked especially for the development of indigenous people, Singha Roy underlined.
