Bihar: Over 11 die of alleged hooch in Siwan, Saran

Siwan / Chapra, Oct 16 (UNI) More than 11 people died and several others took ill after consuming alleged spurious liquid in Maghar and Kaudiya panchayat of Bhagwanpurhat block of Siwan and in Masrak of Saran district.
An official report from Siwan quoting civil surgeon said that nine people died in Siwan, whereas 38 others took ill, of which 25 were being treated at the Sadar Hospital and four others were referred to Patna Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
According to a report from Chapra in Saran district, Islamuddin Ansari (35) and Shamshad Ansari (26) of Ibrahimpur village died after consuming the spurious liquor.
