STF of Odisha police nabs drug peddler, recovers 302 gm of brown sugar

Bhubaneswar, Feb 22 (UNI) The STF of Odisha police with the help of Mayurbhanj district police have apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 302 gm contraband brown sugar (Heroin) and other incriminating materials from his possession.
STF sources on Thursday said on the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by a team of STF, Bhubaneswar at Tato Biunria under Karanjia Police station limit in Mayurbhanj district on the intervening night of February 21 and 22 against illegal dealing/possession of Narcotic Drugs.
During the raids one drug peddler identified as Khirasindhu Samal was apprehended and contraband brown sugar (Heroin) weighing 302 gram and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from his possession.

Kumar, while addressing a public meeting in favour of NDA candidate Jeetan Ram Manjhi for Lok Sabha election 2024, said that eight lakhs government jobs were given to youth in Bihar in 18 years of his tenure as Chief Minister. His government was committed to provide government jobs to youth as well as creating employment opportunities for them, he added.
