Jharkhand pushes for timely execution of student welfare schemes

Ranchi, July 12 (UNI) Jharkhand Welfare Minister Champa Linda today chaired a state-level review meeting of the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes, emphasising timely implementation of key student-centric welfare schemes.
The minister reviewed the progress of the pre-matric and post-matric scholarship schemes as well as the bicycle distribution programme, and directed officials to ensure that benefits reach every eligible student without delay.
“In districts where funds are available, pending cases must be resolved promptly,” the minister said.
