Dr. Bimol MP calls for timely implementation of govt schemes

Imphal, July 12 (UNI) “Even a single step towards positive change can pave the way for greater achievements,” said Dr. Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, Member of Parliament for Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency and Chairperson of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA), while addressing the quarterly DISHA meeting in Bishnupur today.
He emphasised that the platform is crucial for monitoring development activities and ensuring that the implementation of government schemes and projects is both efficient and time-bound.
Dr. Akoijam urged all District Level Officers and stakeholders to work collaboratively toward the district's overall progress. He highlighted the importance of motivation at every level of governance and called for a shared vision of inclusive development, stressing that Bishnupur can set an example for others through cooperation, transparency, and commitment.
