MUKTA in Odisha generates 76 lakh man days,completes 52,500 projects

Bhubaneswar,Feb 13 (UNI) Mukhya Mantri Karma Tatpara Abhiyan(MUKTA), a flagship or excellence program of Odisha Government has created its own unique identity in the state.
This people-centred plan, run by the group, for the group and by the group has provided work orders to over 22,500 Mission Shakti Self Help Groups and completed 52,500 projects generating 76 lakh man-days.
The scheme has undoubtedly sparked a movement, whereby vulnerable groups are empowered as mission-strength self-help groups to build urban infrastructure such as paver block roads, parks, public gyms, and local area development.
