Naveen inaugurates 62 projects worth over Rs.2149 crores in Bargarh

Bhubaneswar, Feb 20 (UNI)Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his visit to Bargarh in Western Odisha on Tuesday inaugurated 62 projects worth Rs 2149 crore and laid foundation stones for 21 projects at a cost of Rs.263 crores.
Addressing a function organised at Kaanapali in Bargarh district, Patnaik said all the irrigation projects inaugurated on Tuesday will create a history in the development of irrigation in the state.
He said the Gangadhar Meher Irrigation Project built at a cost of Rs.1676.42 crores will provide irrigation facilities to over 60,000 acres of land in Bargarh district, especially to the farmers of Sohela, Bijepur Barpali, and Dunguripalli.
