Arunachal Cong announces 1st list of candidates

Itanagar, Mar 21 (UNI) The opposition Congress on Thursday announced the names of the party's 34 candidates in the first phase for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh.
The list of 34 Congress candidates selected by the central election committee of the grand old party featured the names of three former Arunachal ministers and an identical number of female candidates.
Former Home Ministers Kumar Waii and Tanga Byaling will be contesting from Bameng seat in East Kameng and Nacho in Upper Subansiri district, respectively, and former PHED Minister Takam Pario from Palin constituency in Kra Daadi district.
