13.30 pc voters turnout till 9.30 am in Meghalaya

Shillong, April 19 (UNI) An estimated 13.30 per cent of 22 lakh Meghalaya voters cast their votes till 9.30 am on Friday to decide the electoral fortune of 10 candidates aspiring to represent the Shillong and Tura parliamentary constituencies.

The voters began queuing up at 3,512 polling stations before they were allowed in at 7 a.m.
