As many as 961 pigs die after ASF breaks out in Mizoram

Aizawl, May 23 (UNI) Resurgence of the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak has claimed at least 961 pigs while 1,315 pigs have been culled to date, state Animal Husbandry and Veterinary department officials said on Thursday.

The officials said 45 pigs died in the state on Thursday while 11 pigs were culled on the same day. Of 45 dead pigs 30 are from Tuirial village near Aizawl.
