Ten places in Odisha record max temp of over 40 degrees

Bhubaneswar, Apr 3 (UNI) At least ten places in Odisha experienced daytime temperatures rising above 40 degrees Celsius on Wednesday due to prevailing mainly northwesterly and westerly dry air and high solar insolation.
Boudh reported a temperature of 41.8 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest place in the state, while the mercury hovered above 41 degrees Celsius in five more places, including Malkangiri, Titlagarh, Bolangir, Angul, and Bhawanipatna.
Jharsuguda and Nayagarh recorded day temperatures rising to 40.8 degrees Celsius and 40.6 degrees Celsius, while Sambalpur and Talcher in the state also recorded temperatures of 40.4 degrees Celsius each.
