Over 1.84 lakh Olive Ridleys arrive for mass nesting at Nasi 2 beach in Odisha.

Kendrapara, Apr 5 (UNI) The much-awaited mass nesting of endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles has started at Nasi-2 since Tuesday evening.
An estimated 184,653 Olive Ridley sea turtles have laid eggs at Nasi-2, the favorite nesting place of the endangered species, inside the Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary during the last 72 hours, DFO of Rajnagar Mangrove (Forest) and Wildlife Division, Sudarshan Gopinath Jadav, said on Friday.
The arribada (a Spanish term for mass nesting) of the endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles started at Nasi-2 of Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary on April 2 evening and would continue for another few days.
