Sonu Nigam leaves Hyderabad spellbound with ‘Satrangi Re’ concert

Hyderabad, Nov 30 (UNI) Music washed over the city like a burst of colour as Sonu Nigam lit up the Satrangi Re concert before a crowd of nearly 10,000 on Saturday night.
The show, produced by NR Talent & Event Management and conceptualised by BookMyShow, turned into a three-hour spectacle celebrating the seven shades of love.
Sonu Nigam, honoured with the Padma Shri, stretched his performance by half an hour, keeping the audience on their feet with a blend of soulful melodies and high-energy favourites.
“Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin,” “Kal Ho Naa Ho,” “Tu,” “Deewana Tera,” “Bijuria” and “Mere Dholna” were among the many tracks that had the arena swaying and singing along.
Calling Hyderabad a city that understands music deeply, Nigam said the warmth of the crowd pushed him to give more.
“The moment I stepped on stage, I knew it would be a magical night,” he said, adding that plans for a grander show in Ahmedabad next month were already underway.
The organisers too were left elated by the response. Rabbani Mustafa Khan and Namrata Gupta Khan of NR Talent & Event Management described the concert as a dream evening, while BookMyShow COO Anil Makhija said watching an entire arena rise to sing with the artist was a reminder of the power of live music.
The Satrangi Re tour now moves to Ahmedabad on December 21, followed by shows in Pune, Kolkata and Delhi.
