Delhi schools suspend physical classes amid poor air quality

New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) Schools in the national capital have been ordered to suspend physical classes for all students, including those in Class X and Class XII, until further orders on Monday, in view of the prevailing severe air quality and high AQI levels in Delhi.
Issuing the order, the Directorate of Education directed all heads of Government, Government-Aided, and Unaided Private Recognised Schools under the Directorate of Education (DoE), Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), New Delhi Municipal Committee (NDMC), and Delhi Cantonment Board (DCB) to discontinue physical classes for all students of all classes, including class X and class XII, until further orders.
Further, classes for all students are to be conducted in online mode from Tuesday (tomorrow) till further orders, it said.
