BJP intimidating Cong’s social media team, alleges Supriya Shrinate

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) The Congress on Monday alleged that due to fear of losing the Lok Sabha election, the BJP at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah is intimidating professionals working with the party’s social media team.

Addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters here, Chairperson Social Media & Digital Platforms Supriya Shrinate said, “Our social media professionals are being intimidated at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. These are the people who chose the ideology of Gandhi, Nehru, Patel, Bose and stood with the Congress. You got so scared of your defeat that went after our professional youth”.

Shrinate while alleging that people from her team, both at the state and national level, were being forcefully detained, taken for questioning, warned that such act by the government will not scare or deter her team even a bit.

“I am extremely proud of my social media team that is strongly fighting against the act. I am happy that our social media handles and our digital platform has reached such a height that it is giving sleepless nights to the government,” the Congress leader said.

She said that trends of two phases were clearly showing that Narendra Modi and BJP were losing this election badly.

“Because the people of the country have understood BJP’s conspiracy, they have come to know that if BJP wins, it will end reservation and the Constitution,” she added.

Shrinate also accused the Prime Minister and the Home Minister of running the "world’s biggest fake news factory".
