EU “Team Europe” delegation to visit Assam on June 8–9 to boost investment and cooperation

New Delhi, Jun 7 (UNI) A high-level “Team Europe” delegation from the European union (EU) will visit Guwahati, Assam, on June 8–9 to explore new opportunities for cooperation with India’s North-Eastern states, according to the EU Delegation to India and Bhutan.
The visit aligns with priorities set under the EU–India Comprehensive Strategic Agenda agreed at the latest EU–India Summit and aims to strengthen collaboration between Europe and India’s North-East region, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
The delegation will focus on expanding value-chain partnerships across key sectors such as renewable and green energy, sustainable urban infrastructure, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and electronics manufacturing, tea and agri-food processing, flavours and fragrances, and AYUSH.
