New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) BJP has demanded a police probe into the latest allegations levelled by former AAP MLA Rajesh Garg against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his involvement in making fake calls in name of BJP to accuse the saffron party of horse-trading. Talking to reporters here, city unit BJP president Satish Upadhyay yesterday said Delhi Police should take cognizance of this matter now and investigate the matter especially the role of Mr Kejriwal and his long standing associate Vaibhav, named by Mr Garg. 'It is clear that in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal is indulging in politics of conspiracy for selfish needs. 'People have trusted them with a big responsibility, they(AAP) should work for the people rather than letting them down,' he added. Mr Upadhyay said Mr Garg's latest revelation needed to be thoroughly investigated and the charges vindicated the BJP's stand that Mr Kejriwal is a 'master planner and manipulator'. 'It is a matter of concern that the names of senior Union Ministers were misused by Mr Kejriwal and his associate to play dirty politics, ' the leader said. Mr Upadhyay said the BJP would also look into the option of legally taking up this matter. 'We have reason to believe that most of the incidents of slapping that he faced while campaigning were all stage managed to gather sympathy.' 'The Delhi Chief Minister used to talk about morality & honesty, he should come clean about everything going on & the allegations on him,' BJP leader Shrikant Sharma said. Earlier, the AAP said Mr Garg was working against the party as he was denied the ticket during this year’s Assembly polls. 'Rajesh Garg is just angry because he was not given a ticket and these people are just conspiring against the party,' Naveen Jai Hind of the AAP said. UNI NY SW AE 1830
